Exam ended.. So does the Semester

Exam.... Hard... Not easy... Going to fail.. Going to die... These words are the normal words being heard after an exam just ended no matter an exam is hard or not. Some still say it even though they find it easy. LoL

Anyway, I hope this is my last exam of my course throughout this three years. Fingers crossed. Gosh..How many fingers have I crossed? Hmm. Lame..

Another semester break.. Almost every other batch mates are finding work.. Stepping out to their dark dark 3 years then they will fly high high just like a rocket.. Haha.. Only can see moonlight for 3 years...

Some have started working. Some soon. Me.. lazing around.. Relax and wasting time and no income =( Sorta envy them too. And its hard to see them....

One advantage of having classes is that friends will meet together, without any planning done. DUH!! And now, classes have ended and the benefit has disappeared just like that too.

Movies to watch: Harry Potter 7, Megamind (Sunway Pyramid still showing!! The only cinema), Narnia, Gulliver's Travel? Hmmm

Anyway, happy holidays everyone having holidays. Have fun working for everyone who have started work =)

With the end of the semester, this blog is back alive again!! YES... Its over!!

Overall, this semester is quite enjoyable, despite all the classes and stuff. Met many new people around the college and experience new stuff. Some interesting events:

Skip class and progress test to go Australia, without many friends knowing it.. Surprise to many.. Haha
Skip both progress tests and called to progress test SPECIAL... A new policy that is implemented this semester it seems. First time skipping... with valid reasons k?
SAC camp... Theme is Tribal Survival... if not mistaken...
Deloitte tax challege. A nice reunion with my IVAQ team mates though we didn't make it through =)
Theory exam.. Finally finish with it.. I know I am slow =="
Social Gathering for SunwayTES students!!
SAGC Dinner..
Exams... Did badly for one paper but still confident can pass!! *Fingers crossed*
Holidays!! Shop shop... drink drink... eat eat... watch watch.... sleep sleep =)

Internet back and brief updates

Yes!!! It is finally back. I haven't been able to online for the past 1 week or so? Finally made an appointment with the technician for Streamyx. They came, disconnect all other phone cords at my house and yes!! I can go online again.They say that I need a splitter for every other phone in the house. The fact is that I have been using one splitter only, which is for the line I use to connect to the modem. They told me that probably it is because TM or Telekom Malaysia has upgraded the service.

Yea. Its an UPGRADE which gives me trouble. I have to get few more splitters. I just hope that TM can brief the users when they upgrade their service. It is a human right to get Internet access. See here. LoL. Anyway, their customer service centre is quite good though. After you complained, they will keep track of you and check whether your problem is fixed.

Anyway, just some brief updates for the past few weeks. Full version coming soon. =)

Vehicle Recalls??

It seems to be the trend for car manufacturers to recall their cars this year.

Toyota -- The acceleration pedal won't come back up after you stepped on it and the car accelerates on its own. Although Toyota claimed that they have fixed the problem, there are some reports that the fix is not working. See here

Honda -- The (Jazz)car windows are not well waterproof, causing water to enter the power window and cause small fire. And some cars having airbag problem, which dates back to year 2001.

Hyundai -- Airbag problem.

GM -- Steering problem

Nissan -- Brake pin and fuel gauge problems.

On the other hand, there isn't any recall by Proton in 2010. Yes! Although one may say that Proton looks yucky, cheap, etc, at least there is no fatality caused unless you drive fast and BANG!! MALAYSIA BOLEH!!

Yes! I pass my exams for the December 2009 and I am still on the way to finish the course by this year. However, my marks give me a small chance to get a First-class degree. Aiks... Have to get an A for my thesis and the chance of getting an A is very slim, according to my friend...

The subject which I am most worried about turns out to be average while the subject which I am quite confident about just barely pass.. 2 marks to fail. Phew!!

Anyway, life goes on.. Talk about thesis later in the second semester... Now, time to strive for the papers I am currently taking now.

Sony has launched their 3D TV!! It is the Sony Bravia XBR-LX900. Avatar really make 3D the "in" thing now? By having this TV, we can watch so many old movies in 3D. There are other features as well, Wi-Fi comes with the telly as well, so you can go online, check the news, weather, Twitter as what is claimed. For the specification, click HERE.

We had a surprised party for WeiHoong and, distance-celebration for KokMun and farewell of Suet Yee at Chillis, MidValley. WeiHoong saw us and... smile in a way which I can't describe. Before WeiHoong arrived, we ordered food already and the food is ready as soon as he arrived. Wonder why didn't order together. LoL. I ordered something called hot honey crispy chicken. I have forgotten the name. (-.-") Anyway, the pics of the dish is on the menu itself, once you flipped to the page for "chicken". It was spicy and make your tongue hot!! Phew....

The cake... Chocolate Banana. Chocolate Indulgence a NO.. It seemed to be too common already and Brian agreed. In the end, we chose Chocolate Banana. Here comes another problem... the wordings on the cake. We managed to fit everything. Thanks to the staff in Secret Recipe!! =D

Next, to the cinema. Watched Legion and all of us were late for 5 minutes. Who can tell me how does the movie start off?!!

There is a character which looks a lot like Hann Jiunn and all of us agreed and laugh in the cinema itself!! The storyline of the movie is below normal... Angels-possesed human vs Angel + human . The message in the movie though is this: Have faith in what you believed in, and everything will turn good?

911 Staged by US itself? Whistle blower policy for PKA

Malaysia's former prime minister has done it again!! He claims that 911 is staged as an excuse to invade the Middle East. Wow! Indeed, there are many perspective on how you see things.

Why don't we have a thought on why is the government so keen in cutting the subsidies (sugar, fuel) and introduce taxes( Real property gain tax and GST). Is it that Malaysia reserve is depleting soon? Or it is just that they aimed to lower down the the fiscal deficit?

On the other occasion, the transport minister has announced that whistle-blower policy is set out to be used in the controversial Port Klang Authority(PKA) incident. It will soon implemented to the other port authorities. This is a good move by the ministry.

However, this policy should also be implemented to the other companies as well to help early detection of any fraud in companies . It can help to minimize the loss of investors of the company.

The people have to have the courage to become a whistle blower as well. Some may have the mentality that, "I am getting my pay for now. If I report, I may lose my job. Why should I report it?"

How do you define good food?

(A) Food that is nice, tasty, with meat and which may cause you to have diabetes, high blood pressure and other diseases after consuming them for many years,

(B) Food that is dull, tasteless, lots of green, which allow you to live a healthier life?

Anyway, speaking of diabetes, our government is now concerned about it. One of the ways to reduce diabetes is reducing sugar consumption, thus the subsidies are cancelled off. List of items that will be more expensive: Sugar (-.-") , teh tarik, coffee, bread, cakes, iced lemon tea, Coca-cola and so on... Well, it is still a good move.

Many of us would think that sugar cause diabetes. Of course!! However, we should take note of carbohydrate as well since carbohydrate will be broken down into glucose, which is a type of sugar also. Does that mean that the government is gonna raise the price of rice, which is a huge supplier of carbohydrate? I don't think so...

New Year, New Hope, New Resolutions...

Happy new year everyone! Quite a special new year eve this year by spending it with friends. First time. Thanks to YeeTheng for inviting us to her house.

So, resolution for 2010:

Graduate by the end of the year? This can be quite saddening. Leaving ~~school and college~~ study life and go on to full working life and separating with friends. No more long holidays, only an annual leave, ~~occasional sick leave~~, and weekends. Still, graduate this year is the aim!

Other than that, no more I think..... Unless trying not to be single? LoL.. Happy new year and enjoy 2010!!

Proton is cheaper in UAE than in Malaysia?

I read somewhere that Proton are selling their cars cheaper in the UAE ( maybe in other countries also), compared to Malaysia. It is claimed that the prices are set that low for market penetration. Anyone here knows about this?

Market penetration pricing. Seems like Proton cars are selling at a much higher profit margin to Malaysians than the other countries (not proven of it). And here I thought that national cars should be sold cheaper in their own country?

No matter how ridiculous it seems, Malaysians will still be buying the not so cheap(same quality?) Protons. or maybe PERODUA!!

Milk produced in Malaysia is just wasted away?

Recently, I heard that about RM20+ of milk which is produced in Malaysia was just poured away. It seems that the manufacturers who need milk as their material prefer imported milk due to a cheaper pricing. Hence, the milk was left to turn sour and just poured away. What a waste..

Why can't the price be lowered down to match with the competition? And minimise the loss as well. It is said that the government plans to set a quota that the manufacturers must buy local milk before buying those imported ones. Another protective mechanism. This is perhaps why Malaysia cannot compete with the other countries. Just let the business owners make losses. Definitely, they will think of ways to make profit, thus increasing the competition and improving Malaysia.

It is the same case as Proton? Why can't Proton manufacture a supercar, when they have a subsidiary which does it and is entering F1 in 2010. Till date, they only show us "Lotus handling". Something like that...

Yes, this is the new Mercedes Benz E Class W212. This is the colour which is used in advertisements. I guess this is the best colour afterall. The front lights have been changed to rectangle-ish from oval shape, making it more ferocious? The oval shaped lamps have been used for 2 generations already. However, the concept of "1 big 1 small" front light is still preserved. The fog light, which is like an "L" is quite new to me. Besides, the signal light at the side mirrors are like forks, instead of a rectangle in the older version. From here, the rear looks a bit like the S-class.

F7 F8 F9.. Those are the subject code of the subjects that I sat for. Financial Reporting, Audit & Assurance and Finance Management. And today, it is the day the semester really ended. Thanks to all my lecturers no matter what are the results.

F8 was the first day, then F9 and F7. F8 was quite do-able, despite many surprises. F9, one of my favourite paper wasn't so. Did not understand and screwed my favourite paper badly? Maybe. And lastly, F7, do-able as well, although there are some elements of surprise. But these surprise weren't welcomed!!!

Anyway, it is time to enjoy and suffer when 22th February 2010 comes....

No water supply again. For the second day. The supply is back for about 17hours or so and then it is lost again. Just few hours without water is extremely difficult. Imagine you came home from outside and someone break the news to you and you can't bath!! Where are you going to bath? Argh. What's more, you get your drinking water straight from the tap, after being filtered. No, you have to go and get mineral water.

When called to ask, they said yesterday something near Carrefour Wangsa Maju was damaged and today was Pangsa Murni. My sister ask... Then tomorrow leh? Where spoil? LoL.

Karaoke @ Superstar

Went for karaoke @ Superstar Karaoke,located in Wangsa Walk Mall. They are using TOUCH SCREEN!!! Just touch here and there and choose your songs. Playlist up to 5 pages, each with 10 songs, so 50 songs in total. You can search by "writing" out the song title under "search". They provide you a remote control as well. However, the annoying thing about this touchscreen is that, when you stop the song, you have to go to the screen to confirm it.

Outside food and drinks are allowed in the premise. Unlike RedBox, which you are required to buy the food and drinks from them.

The people there are quite nice. The room given is very small and very near to the screen. After awhile, we complain and they gave us another room. Although both are considered as small rooms, but the 2nd room is much comfortable to the eyes.

I have no idea whether the songs are as many as RedBox and Neway, but those from very famous artistes are available.

There are packages provided as well. The package I went for is for a small room one, with 2.5 hours of singing time, no food and drinks provided. Price of it.. RM60. For big room, they go on per hour basis I think, RM38/hour. I don't know how many people can it fit though.

It started of with my watch that stop moving last month. First, I went to the only shop that deals with watches and clocks. They didn't have the equipment to open the cover of my watch. Hence, the battery couldn't be replaced. They recommended me to go to this shop at the first floor in Alpha Angle, Wangsa Maju.

My dad was the one who brought my watch there. That guy told him that the battery has no warranty. Well, the battery lasted just for few days and my watch "Stopped short, never go again". It was brought back to the same shop. This time, my dad was told that the circuit board was damaged and the repair cost is around RM200. Crazy, its more than half of the price of the watch.

My dad brought the watch to a shop in Wangsa Walk, located near the Cold Storage. A new battery is put into the watch, it moves again and stop after 3 days. LoL. It seemed that the battery moved. After readjustment, everything is well till now...

Too bad my dad threw away the receipt. So, people, please ask for second opinion, even for repairing watches..

Passed Grd 8 Practical finally.. Whew..

After about 2 months of waiting, my teacher finally receive the results for every student of hers. She called me on Friday (2/10/09) night and told me I passed, a borderline pass though. Well, for me, a pass is still a pass!!

*Relieved and happy*

The next day, my teacher gave me the results slip while she was having classes with my sister. 4 marks to go before i fail.. Pass all 3 songs and scales, but fail sight reading and aural!! Luckily the marks for the pieces and scales are enough to pull up my mark. Don't want to fail in piano exam again....

So now, the plans: Finish the theory.. Haiz.. Another year to go.. Take it slow and steady

Second, 7.9magnitude earthquake off the coast of Samoa, creating a tsunami to land in Samoa and American Samoa.
Thirdly, another 7.9magnitude earthquake near Sumatera, creating tremors in Malaysia.
And this morning, another earthquake of 6.3magnitude occurs near Tonga, which is near to Samoa as well.

Besides, another typhoon, Parma, is approaching Philippines as well.

Whats wrong with the world? Is it the consequences for polluting and damaging the environment to obtain development??

You guys may not know who Yoshito Usui is, but I am sure most of you know who Crayon Shin-Chan is. Well, Yoshito Usui is the creator of Shin-chan.. He was found dead at the bottom of a cliff on Mount Arafune in the Gunma Prefecture few days ago.

Crayon Shin-Chan is one of the funniest manga I've ever read.
Wonder what will happen to it.

Pulau Sibu trip

On 29/8/09, after my class ended at 12.30pm, my family and I traveled to Johor Bahru. This is the third time I have been to Johor Bahru. We stayed one night at Crystal Crown Hotel. The next day, we left around 9am to the jetty.

We reached the jetty around 11am, where we met up with my father's friend and his family. The ferry left 15minutes later. Everything was peaceful. Suddenly, the captain slowed down the ferry. Its like emergency brake. There was a log floating and the ferry hit it. Luckily, the ferry was slowed down. Otherwise, the propeller maybe damaged.

The ferry trip took 30minutes. The island only contains a resort only. There are many activities that will be provided, jungle trekking, archery, flying fox, canoe-ing, banana boat and so on. Of course, some of them are not free of charge. There are some animals as well, mainly deers.

There is one nice thing about the cafeteria. The food kept coming out when those served are finished. Ok, it was a buffet. But then, even though its after lunch time and around 3pm, fruits are still being prepared. Fruits are always empty. Many people will wait for it and take a lot. It seems Malaysians like fruits a lot too :D

The next day(31/8/09), went to jungle trekking. This is open for all. There were a group of adults who thought that with kids and some elderly people joining, they will be slowed down. They left first. The guide has to call backup because the other guide has to follow them. Geram. Discrimination!!!
We came to a beach when the jungle trekking almost comes to the end. The beach is very nice. By that time, rain clouds are rolling in already and the wind is quite strong. It started to drizzle. The flying fox had to be cancelled as a safety precaution. Awwww...

My friends celebrated my birthday 5 days earlier, during the WMS school concert, which is 17th July 2009. I reached my WMS( the meeting point) and found out that I was the first!!

Anyway, we went to dinner at LAO Hiong. My friends surprised me with a cake and some of the lights are switched off when they took the cake out. It is a joint celebration with my 2 other friends, Chun Shiun(who wasn't there unfortunately) and Sze Jian.The cake is a pandan cake with cream XD Wee Lik was scrapping the cream off before eating the cake.Anyway, the nickname I received is "Venusaur". LoL.

We finished everything around 8.30pm and we went back to WMS. It is the "half time" of the concert. So, we managed to watch the second half. The concert is titled "Puteri Gunung Ledang". At first I thought, Why? Everything will be in Bahasa Malaysia.. It turned out wrong. It is a mixture of Bahasa Malaysia and English with English for most of it. The Sultan acting is good. Overall, its acceptable. It would have scored higher if the PA system was working well.

We went home around 10.30pm.. Thanks guys and sorry for the late post..

PD Trip - 27th & 28th June

On the last week of my semester break, I went to P.Dickson with my secondary school friends. There are two meeting points. I met up with my friends at WMS at 8.50am, right on time. Left there around 9.10am. Met with those friends who left from Bukit Jalil at USJ R&R. Reach the destination around 12pm. Put our bags into the bungalow(Ayer Hitam bungalow) and out for lunch!! The bungalows there are named after name of places...Muar, Ayer Hitam....

After lunch, it is time to clean the bungalow.. I didn't expect it to be clean and it was much worse than what I expected. Phew... Activities started.. Mahjong, cards, chess and so on. The guys, including me played volleyball... First time playing in my entire life. We also played some "not so rough" rugby, using a volleyball.

In the evening, we went to the beach nearby. 9 of us went for a banana boat ride. It was quite slow because there are so many of us. Those who didn't go for the ride went back to the bungalow first to prepare dinner. Soon, everyone helped to prepare dinner. Spaghetti---> tomato and cabanera.. Mushroom soup from Campbell, a lot of sausages, egg salad and fruit salad. Can opener was left in KL. Process of opening the cans include barbecue sticks, hammer and scissors.. Haha. Cincau and lemonade was perpared too. Finally, dinner was served around 10pm.

Of course, the activities didn't just end there. The night is still young!! Some of us played mahjong and few of us started to try to finish the Heinekens and gin that was brought there. Each of us will choose a card. The person with the lowest will have to drink some of the gin/beer. The epic event that happened was when Sze Jian destroyed the mah jong pyramid with his leg... You can't imagine it if you weren't there. Everyone went to sleep at 3am. Only a few cans of beer left.

The room was cold. I was directly hit from the cold air from the air-con. Plus, there was no blanket. I didn't feel the coldness until 3 hours later. Sprang up from the bed, can't sleep at all. Quickly change into trackbottom and wore a jacket. Freaking cold...

Second day... ~~breakfast~~ brunch was prepared on our own. I was like an assistant to Terng Sheng who was busy preparing scrambled eggs while I was busy "cracking" the eggs. Seldom do this at home. Inexperience in it...

After checking out, we went to the Teluk Kemang beach. Wonder why the local authorities structure the drainage system this way... the drain water is let to flow into the sea. You can see the drain once you stepped on the beach. What a nice welcome. Anyway, we just had coconuts.

We left PD at 3.30pm. Not long after getting into the van, I think most of us fell asleep. The two vans parted ways at USJ R&R, which is also the meeting point.

This is an special experience and memory worth to be treasured. Although we did not relax much at PD, well, we worked together in many ways--> cleaning the bungalow? This will seldom happen during gatherings. Many things which I seldom do at home, maybe few times in a year, I did most of it here.

Cameron Highlands

Went to Cameron Highlands on 10/6/09-12/6/09. It has been a long time since I went there. Around 5 years? Or longer... I have forgotten how narrow the road is. Highlights of the trip is none other than the cold weather and the vege.. Stayed at Strawberry Park Resort.. There is a strawberry farm in the resort indeed! Anyway, a dinner without rice at Brinchang. The reason given by the restaurant, very late already so no more rice... Erm.. its about 8pm only? Thats the lesson for the day. Eat dinner early.

The most interesting part of the trip is visiting the Time Museum. This museum is very special. This museum display things that are from the timeframe of 1940(I think) onwards. The items displayed are items normally used during my parents childhood. Some of it still can be seen in my grandparents house!!!

Suggested change to SPM.. Is it better?

Finally, the Ministry of Education has confirmed that from 2010 onwards the number of SPM subjects that can be take is 10.

Muhyiddin, who is Education Minister, said the six core subjects in the SPM — Bahasa Melayu, English, Islamic Education or Moral Studies, History, Mathematics and Science — would remain.

“However, those in the science stream are exempted from taking Science, so this means they take five core subjects and five elective subjects,” he said.

The 3 science papers are looked as the core paper for science stream students. Add maths is a norm among the students. Eventually, students can only take 1 more paper, except for religious school (students can take up to 11 subjects). In my secondary school, English for Science and Technology is made a compulsory paper.

So, there is no choice left for the students. Here is the question..

Recently, my mum tried to produce Garbage Enzyme from the kitchen waste such as the skin of the fruits, some vege bla bla bla.... Its waste ok.. She learnt this from her friend and I was wondering how can a solution, created by adding waste and sugar, can be used to clean the floors, windows etc..including your own body. So, I googled about it and the results.

Indeed this enzyme has many advantages. It saves our Mother Earth by releasing ozone.O3, surprisingly.. It also saves our money on buying plastic bags for the waste? Nah.. there are other benefits of it because usage of it are:

Natural household cleaner;
air purifier;
deodoriser;
insecticide;
detergent;
body care;
car care;
organic fertiliser
etc....

Aim: To produce Garbage Enzyme.

Hypothesis: Garbage enzyme brings the benefit stated above.

Materials: Sugar(brown sugar), water, fruit and vegetables. not oily food!!!

Apparatus: Air tight plastic container

Procedures:

Add the sugar, fruit dreg and water into a plastic container with a ration of 1 : 3 : 10. Leave some space as some gases will be produced during the fermentation.
Tighten the cover of the container and leave it for 3 months.
Open it once in few weeks to release the gases formed to prevent the pressure from damaging the container.
Place it at a cool place. Avoid sunlight.
3 months later, ready to be used.

Results:
Gas produced? Unknown gas is produced.
Usefulness of the enzyme? Unable to test.

Conclusion: Since the gas produced and the usefulness of it cannot be identified and tested, further research is needed. Hypothesis is left on hold till further research.

LoL.. Sorry guys. This experiment thing just came to my mind. For more information, click HERE...

For the usage of this enzyme of body care and as a vegewash, I don't dare to try it... For those who tried, please tell me the result.. Thanks..

Lee Hom Concert 2009

Went to Lee Hom's concert for the first time. It was awesome and fantastic, although my ticket is RM138. Went to his concert with my sister and father. Didn't get to buy the merchandise. Too long queue and lazy to wait.

We reach Bukit Jalil at 5.30pm.. 2 and half hours before the concert start. However, there are many fans lining up at the entrances for the RM88 ticket. They want to get the best seat as it is free seating.

Anyway, we went into the stadium at 7.30pm. The concert started later than the time stated in the tickets. People are still coming in at 8.10pm.. The fans were given warnings that silent is not allowed throughout the concert and our hearbeat rate will increase, blood pressure will increase...And thats a normal effect in Music-Man Concert. Daniel Lee and Kay came out to sing first.. Kay was boo-ed when she came out. Aiks, people, no need like that lar.

The concert really start off with 摇滚这么了. The Bahamut is really nice :D Cost about US$30000. There are red lasers in the eyes of the dragon!!

Lee Hom said that the theme of the concert is called "Music-Man" because during childhood, he likes Batman, Spiderman, Superman. Thus, he named himself the “Music-Man"!! There even has an animation of Music-Man as background when he came to stage. The animation ends with "当Music-Man卸下英雄装，也是个需要爱情的普通男子”

When he was singing 改变自己，there are three Lee Hom look alikes.. 2guitarist and 1 drummer.. They look so alike...

The concert ends around 11.10pm.. Just after the concert, fans are lining up to get the merchandise while I just go home..

Few days ago, I received my certificate for passing CAT, sent from the UK. Well, when I collected it from my letter box, I only notice there is a letter with big envelope, which is bent. After I checked, its my CERT!!! Of all things, its bent!!

It is stated "PLEASE DO NOT BEND" on the envelope. Furthermore, the back of it is sticked with a manila card, to increase the difficulty to bend it.

I wonder who is the one who bent it. It may be the postman in UK or in Malaysia and no one will know about it.. Just have to bear with it. If it is done by the postman in Malaysia, maybe they should add "JANGAN LIPAT" also..

PC Fair & Graduation Party

PC FAIR April 11th 2009
There wasn't any hall selling speakers in this PC Fair. Hate the main exhibition hall very much.. Packed with promoters of broadband.. Saw an "ang mo" promoter. First time seeing one in PC Fair loo.. The prices of the things there are not that cheap either.. The devices that I am interested in are the "smile shutter function" of the latest sony cybershot. It will take a picture when it detects a face with a smile... If group photo then, I wonder how many pictures will it take.

Another device is the HP touchscreen laptop, which Yeun Yi has one also!! That guy won't let us try with the stylus!!

By the way, I met my friend from my secondary school!!

Collection of Robe on Friday.. No mortarboard for me, a CAT grad. LoL. I will have it.. 2 years later!!

On Saturday, the Graduation day, I left my house at 6.50am. Every graduates supposed to reach Pyramid convention centre at 7am. Due to sleepiness, woke up late and there goes. Anyway I reached there 7.30 went to the convention centre with Iko. Many are still lining up for registration. Guess I wasn't that late at all. My registration number is CAT-074... After registration, we attended the rehearsal.

After rehearsal, we had one hour to dress ourselves and take pictures!! At 10am, we lined up, waiting for the ceremony to start. Instead of starting, we were kept waiting until 45minutes later? Anyway, who cares. We have waited from 7.30 so waiting for another 45minutes is not much. Used the time to talk with friends!!

Anyway, not much things after the ceremony started. Just speeches and giving the "scrolls". Oh ya, not forgetting Mr Teo's story :D. Impossible comes from I-M-Possible...

Treasure Hunt

Treasure Hunt.. An occasion which I can meet my bestest friends from secondary school, besides from hunting treasure. The 7th Annual MCKL Treasure Hunt. My team mate and team name are still WeiHoong and WeiHan(derived from WeiHoong & ChuanHan) respectively.

Reached MCKL at 7.20am. Among my friends, I am the first to reach. When my sis and I reached there, her partner was saying to her late d late d.. Haha. Anyway, WeiHoong reached 10minutes later and we went to have a drink. All of us registered few minutes before the registration ends. ~~Typical last-minuter?~~ This time, WeiHoong and I make sure and double confirm that we did not take the wrong goody bag. FYI, WaiShan's goody bag was given to us by mistake. This time, the mistake was with me. Haha. The shirt I was given was a "S" size. -.-" Me, wearing "S" size? If can wear, the shirt will burst also lar..

KiatJin swapped his shirt with me. THANKS!!! It fits him nicely. This year's questions are very hard, much harder than the last one. From Brickfields, we went to KLCC, Bukit Bintang and then back to MCKL. There was a commotion in KLCC though. Arghs... Participants were shoo-ed out by the security guards as no permission was obtained. There was a weird rule.... NO RUNNING!!!... LoLz man.

Anyway, out of our pakatan of 7 teams, 4 teams got some prizes.. I got an iPod shuffle. Yay?! We missed the iTouch though.

Psychology test

Today is the first time I psychologically tested by a person. A student of psychology department. My friends and I are asked to join the experiment while we were in the student centre and we agreed to become their white mice.

This is also the first time I walked in a lab in my college. We were to enter the lab one by one. The test was simple. It is a test carried out in groups of four. I am the fourth specimen, which I was told. There are 11 slides in total. We will be shown a shape. Then, we have to choose a shape which has the same size as the main shape.

For the first few slides, the other 3 'specimens' answered correctly. After that, I began to notice that some of the answers they gave made no sense at all but their answers are the same. It is like I was the extraordinary person giving different answers. They said "1, 1, 1" but I said "3" instead. It made me thought I have eyesight problems and I was totally confused.

After all the slides, I was explained that it was a study whether I will follow the others. The other 3 participants are actually her friends. They are just playing along, giving some wrong answers. Eventually, I am the only the white mouse there. And here comes the observation of the experiment... I was not influenced by them but I have 2 wrong answers and it was a good result.

After that, break was over and back to class. The test was quite fun although it was 5 minutes only.

16 February 2009... A day which will determine whether I graduate from CAT or I will be kicked back to CAT from ACCA, which sucks... I am sure I passed 3 papers. However, I have doubts on my audit paper which I was suddenly blanked during the exam...for no reason at all

The result came out around 2pm. It was during tax period. I was trying to suppress my anxiety. My lecturer let us out earlier. Then, I rushed to the computer lab in the library to find out that many computers are down... Instead, I went to another computer lab. The results are as follows:

ICAEW talk??

It is Valentine's Day...No big deal for me though. It is just another Saturday after my progress tests. Progress tests are done badly.. Anyway, this is not a that normal Saturday. I am attending a talk about ICAEW, which is one of the most prestigious professional accounting course in the world. Plus, I have to dress formally.

Without double confirm by checking my email, I went to the Multi Purpose Hall.. Luckily I did not open the door as there are students inside, halfway through their exam. Luckily I met Weng Hoe who told me that it was in Audi 5.

There are representatives from Deloitte, BDO Binder and Folks DFK. There was a talk by Mr Teo, explaining what is ICAEW about. The managing partner of BDO Binder, Dato Gan, also talked to us about ICAEW.

It was the interview session after that. For me, I think it is more like a briefing. The representatives of the firms are explaining to us all about their firms. We were given the chance to ask anything we want.

Chinese New Year this year for me is quite special for me :D Well, you see, normally people balik kampung at the New Year eve by latest. For my family, we went back at the second day. 2 kampungs in one day some more.

On the way back, my family did not use the NSE the whole journey. We used the old roads which consist of one or two lanes only. I manage to take a few pictures of the scenery along the way.

Besides that, there was a house hopping on 31 January... organised by Kok Mun, Robin, Terng Sheng.... Unfortunately, Kok Mun fell sick few days before the hopping plan.. Emails were used mainly for planning this activity and for the first time, email turned into something like a chatting software.We hopped 6 houses from Rawang to SS2 and to Bukit Jalil. 6 cars and there are 25 of us in total. Almost all of us wore red colour.

Malaysia football team once again glorify themselves by conceding 5 goals in the recent match with the UAE. In the Asian Cup 2007, lost 5-0 to Uzbekistan and subsequently 5-1 to China. It is very sad case for Malaysia football.

Malaysia football team was indeed one of the giants in Asia back in the olden days... They even qualify for Olympics in 1972 and 1980!!!! Well, although they lost eventually. But still, Malaysia qualify for Olympics!!

Now, I only wish that Malaysia football team really improves... Otherwise, please do not shame the country but playing any games...

Israel and Gaza

Finally, the stop fire of Israel and Gaza, Palestine. The attacks have been continued for weeks. Throughout the period, there are protests, people calling for boycotts (no idea whether is there any), donations and many other things.

As for the boycott of US goods.. yeah right la... Imagine boycotting the Intel and AMD... Computer won't work.. Holiday for everyone who need a PC for work? Try boycott Intel la.. Now Intel already closed down 2 factories in Penang. At a difficult period like now, you want to make people lose their jobs? Now, PAS try to stop Rihanna concert. Music is universal lo. You have been a joke in the Avril Lavigne conert last year. Giving out flyers at the entrance. OMG.....Please be more open minded can you? Although I think that the ban on selling alcholic drinks is good :D (No offence). Just like football.

Donations.. If Palestine has no money, how can they fight so long with Israel? Furthermore, if Palestine really cares about their citizens in Gaza, why did they continue attacking Israel? Israel official said that they attack Gaza because Gaza attacked them. So, if Gaza cease fire, Israel will have no reason to attack Gaza right? Now, thats what confuses me...

The day when I came back after my last exam, I notice my pc won't load. Check wiring and everything. No problem.. Finally decided to send for repairs. Ms Joyce is a strict but kind lecturer. Really check the homework she gave one by one. Always motivate the student to study and do well :D The class is challenging though. She always pushes you to your limit...

Lego Land @ Iskandar Malaysia aka Iskandar Development Region
Recently, Legoland agreed to have a theme park here in Iskandar Malaysia. There are only four Legoland only, in USA, UK, Denmark and Germany. Malaysia will be the fifth one!! Not bad :D Wonder what incentives did the government offer Legoland. There is a risk though. Its not like people from KL will purposely travel to Johor just to go to the theme park. Not for me....

Landslide @ Bukit Antarabangsa
Hope this will now happen any more. Human being tend to forget things and be optimistic. thinking that landslide will not happen again. Landslide had occured there about 15 years or so. One of the three blocks of Highland Tower collapsed. 40+ people died in the tradegy. This is forgotten as time passed. Luckily, the casualties in this tragedy aren't that many. Malaysia government did not learn the lesson, including the buyers. Till now, there is still housing development at Ukay Perdana, near Bukit Antarabangsa. Hope the government really learn their lesson now.

Anyone realised that the tragedies in Malaysia is like a season. When there are bus crashes, there will be a few more bus crashes. When its helicopter, then a few helicopters will crashed. Now its the landslide.

Recently, an audit lecturer called Mr Marcus left Sunway and joined Inti and started to promote Inti. Now, there are a lot colleges offering ACCA courses. Those are major competitors too such as Taylors College and Inti College. I hope SunwayTes buck up lor. If the colleges got Platinum award, sure many students will cross over if the fees are cheaper....

Windows Live Messenger Beta
My Windows Live Messenger need to be reinstalled. So I downloaded the installer and got Windows Live Messenger Beta. The interface is nice...

However I prefer my old version better. The beta version is not compatible with Messenger Plus which allows the user to do more things such as adding colour to the display name. You differentiate the status of everyone by a small colour-ed square. Zzzzz

Rude Astro Customer & Spot the Difference...

My friends in class told me that there was a sound clip which was leaked out of Astro (perhaps) between the Astro PR Officer ( aka Customer Service), Mr Siva.... and the Astro customer, a female, 22 years old. The sound clip can me downloaded here. The duration is 22 minutes. So you can 'enjoy' yourself listening to people quarrel.. A thread is created in the lowyat.net forums too. Anyway, whether the conversation is a fake, no one know....

The lady was super demanding and she should put her face in the toilet bowl and flush it. That will make her mind clear. The phrase " That's your problem" is the main reason why the call was made for such a long time.

I pitied the customer service guy. He had to tolerate the scoldings, critics and all sorts of threatening done by the lady. If me, I would say... Excuse me, please mind you language or I have to hang up the phone. He kept listening and tried explaining but to no avail.

Seriously, I wonder what school did she go. Although her English is good, she shouldn't criticise other people like that. Even if you want to criticise other people, criticise in a professional way. Some more can threaten him that she will go straight to Astro and make him lose his job, want to report police and sue him. It should be him suing you for threatening. For me, the lady is 'kurang ajar". No other suitable adjectives.

Malaysia has reached her 51th birthday.. Not too young , not too old. Malaysia has grown up a lot.. What about the people?

Hmm... this requires a serious thinking. This year's theme is Perpaduan Teras Kejayaan. Well.. sorry la but actually i didn't know until my sis told me.. Hehe... But is it going to work? Especially after what happened.. Firstly, the UiTM stuff... Please be open minded la those in UiTM.. Not many Chinese want to enter it also. How are you going to improve if u don't accept more people from different countries and different races? Without more competition, it is hard to improve.. The MB of Selangor is just doing for you own good but you guys just rubbished his efforts. Are you guys fear of the competition? If you are, then I have nothing to comment... except KIASU, which the principal of WMS always used ( in a wrong way though)...Click here!!!

Even the latest ranking of universities in the world, Universiti Malaya dropped out of the
Top 200. So are you guys gonna celebrate again? I remembered last year UM dropped to 190+, if not mistaken. You can still celebrate and after that say will try to improve the ranking... So, you all improved by getting out of the 200? What the hell man. Malaysia government, can you please improve UM faster... otherwise, UM will be in the 300+ list... For the list Click Here.....

Besides, look what happen in Dataran Merdeka after the celebrations.. Rubbish all around after the celebration. So did Pendidikan Moral do anything good to the nation? In form 5, Pendidikan Moral is just memorising the definition of the "nilai"(s) blindly without knowing the meaning and write everything blindly in the exam, hoping to get an A. I'd say that people are not spiritually grown up...

And lastly, the racist remarks by Datuk Ahmad Ismail. Chinese are "immigrants" ? What do you mean? Most of us in this generation are born and grow up here and now you telling people that we are immigrants? Don't use races as a subject. Politicians like this are those who ask people from different races to be unite and on the other hand, caused the people to break away. This reminds me of Batman: Dark Knight. Remember 2 face Harvey, Harvey 2 face. You see, the people in USA can accept a leader who is from a different race.

Now , more than half a century have passed. BN... think properly before you speak or you act. Otherwise 916 will be a fact.... Anyway, to people who read this post, please comment...

Results Out : Happy Stuff and Sad stuff

Happy Stuff:
My sis and bros are on holidays now.. So nice, while my hols is in December and only 3 weeks. Anyway, today my long awaited exam results will be out finally. I have been waited since 06/06/08... or maybe it is la. After 2 months plus, it will be finally out.

My sis will be going to KLCC today with her friend Ruo Rong. Well, Ruo Rong will come to my house first then my parents will send them to KLCC. After preparing everything, I still have time. Eventually, I on my computer and go to the ACCA website to check whether the results is out. Well, it isn't... Haiz, have to wait for few more hours. Want this feeling to pass quickly.

Anyway, the taxation class today will start 15minutes later. My lecturer told us that she will let us out 1 hour earlier because by the time, the results should be out and we won't pay attention in class also la. Just when I was doing my tutorial question, my lecturer told us that she received an SMS that the results is out. OMG OMG OMG... ITS OUT!!! I want to check it immediately... I suddenly remember that my phone has the GPRS function. YAY!! It really serve it purpose.. I login to my Gmail.... First email.. Results Online: ACCA Examination Results..... Open it.... Scroll down..*Trembling*.....

MCKL Treasure Hunt

Ehem.... My blog is at a slower pace compared to Kok Mun and Terng Sheng, who updated their blog so fast.. I busy and tired ma.. What to do leh?

Ok.. now back to the main story/ event... Everyone in my house wake up at 6 wei even though its a Saturday.. To give moral support to my sis and I for the treasure hunt...

To tell the truth, its because my parents are sending my sister and I to MCKL for treasure hunting. And my bros needed to go to school for some replacement classes for Hari Raya holidays..

We reached MCKL at 7.20am.. Not too late and not too early. My partner for the day Wei Hoong aka BearBear. He was there already when I reached. We registered first. Team name as Wei Han(Wei Hoong & Chuan Han) We never check the goody bags they handed to us and we went to the toilet which is at the erm... 3rd or 4th floor. Anyway, when we were walking past the hall, we saw the cheerleaders rehearsed for the last time. In, the toilet, Wei Hoong asked me why is the XL shirt of MCKL so small... For me its ok.. thats what I told him.

After that, we went back to the registration area to join our friends. Kiat Jin had not registered and was walking here and there... His partner and friends were still on the way. They reached 15minutes before the event start. At that time, Wei Hoong and I only realised that we were handed with the wrong goody bag. I got his and he got Wai Shan's. It caused a little confusion later when Wai Shan was looking for her goody bag...

Anyway, this year's treasure hunt was so lengang..not like last year... rushed off with my partner when it started. This is because my friends and I joined up. Clever leh... So instead of 2 to 1 team.. It is like 12 to 1 team... They are Kok Mun, Terng Sheng, Wei Han, Sze Jian , Kiat Jin, Yeun Yi, Yee Eng, Suet Ee, Wai Shan, May Ling, Robin, and Han Jiunn. So many people rite?

Anyway, Wei Hoong and I just walked slowly, looking for answers and double checking answers that we received from random people. The route is something like this... MCKL--->
KL Sentral---> KLCC indoors---> KLCC park---> Bukit Nanas---> Lot 10--->
Bintang Walk---> Times Square---> Tun Sambanthan---> Malaysian Association For The Blind (MAB)---> MCKL. We didn't do the KLCC indoors just relied on out team mates answers..

In Lot 10, the organisers told us not to run but walk fast. It is because some people who wanted to be as fast as possible ran and the security guards thought they stole something and was escaping and they were brought to the security room. Sad case...

Moral Lesson1:
Do not run out of shopping complex

Met up with my sis and her team mate and its time of exchanging answers :D The questions are quite tough..

The lunch was from The Chicken Rice Shop, same as last year. There was a lucky draw after lunch. After that, its the moment where all of us are fond of... *PRIZE GIVING CEREMONY* My sis and her teammate got the 4th place and received an iPod Shuffle...although she was not satisfied. Haha. Wei Hoong and I got the 5th place with 50 marks and we got a Kingston 2GB pendrive as consolation prize. But then, Sze Jian and Wei Han got the 2nd place, and Kok Mun and Terng Sheng got the first prize. Congrats man, our plan and strategies are successful. They share their prize with us. Thanks man...

Wednesday, first day of Malaysian Studies.... New lecturer.. new subject.. new hell.. or so la... Start at 8 o clock in the morning straight to 11am leh.. 3 hours... then have to go to class at 11.30 to 6pm.. Geram lah!! Need to wake up early in the morning to go for the class..

The class is in Audi 7... When I walked in, so few people only leh... And the auditorium is so big...Saw Soon Jin in the Audi.His group for CAT will be having Malaysian Studies as well. The lecturer came in 20minutes late.. She said that it is supposed to be in Audi 2 today and she was running all over to look for us.. Well, too bad nobody told us about that.

Then, we moved to Audi 2. From the 2nd floor, we have to go back down to the Ground floor. The lecturer starts introduce the subject... and she wasn't that clear about CAT & ACCA.. The class was so so so boring.. Outside, it was raining.. So the sky pity of us and tears ran down... Haha

When the lecturer declare break time, many people start going out. Argh!!! I haven't signed my attendance. Quickly sign it.. The whole row of us took our bags and left the auditorium... The lecturer was looking at us also... But we ran off...:P

Now, we are making a schedule to see who goes for which class... Rotating system..

此外，作者会恨自己的父亲是因为愛。爱与恨都有着一个“心”字。刘墉写过这一本叫做<<为什么爱总是矛盾？>> 的书。读了后，我感觉到有时爱的确是矛盾的。

作者也提到一个人去世时是结束了生命，而不是关系。关系是永远结束不了的。例如：我最小的弟弟出世前，我的公公已经去世了。然而，我们还是会拿公公的相片，并告诉他相片里的人就是你的公公。这不就证明了关系不会结束的吗？

PD trip !!!

Yay!!! First day of holidays.... Second last day of holidays for my sis and bros though. Early in the morning, we put our bags into the car and off we go... with me as the driver... First time driving for me for long distances...

Everything is smooth, the traffic is flowing and everything is well. The lunch and dinner of the day will be at Lukut, a town after Port Dickson.. Before lunch, we went to the Ostrich Farm. We miss the ostrich race... Awwwww

After that, we went to Lukut for lunch... My sis said she saw a Wesleyan at the place we ate but i got no idea... Anyway, we went to the place we are staying for the night. It is The Legends, Water Chalet. The water chalet is very special i say. Hard to describe :D

Anyway, the beach is very disappointing... Very dirty and a lot of stones. Imagine you waling on stones.. and sharp ones..

The second day, we went home around noon. We did not use the highway to go home. We went to a place called Bukit Pelanduk to buy... Dou Sa Beng (tambun biscuit, is it?) We bought 50+ and these are not the small size ones you get from Penang. We aim to finish them in one week.. After that, we go bak home straightaway...

Finish T3, T4, T5!!!!

Yay... finally its OVER!!! Well my exams are over now... 3 papers, 3 days, 6 hours. Seems like relaxing huh... Each day one paper only. If anyone say that my course is easy, I'll smack that person till he wakes up...

Today's paper is the hardest of all... 10 theories questions and they are know or not, do or die. Paid few hundred bucks for these 3 exam papers...

As usual, we entered the hall... fill in our particulars n bla bla bla...

Then the invigilators start giving out exam questions. This few days right, the invigilators have been using "We will report your conduct to ACCA Malaysia" whenever there are people talking before the exam start.. (-.-")

The last paper was very unexpected la.... There was about 2 questions which are not in my notes that the lecturer gave... Some in BPP textbook which is nicely shown to every student.. Sadly, I didn't focus much on the BPP textbook although I photostated it. Well for your information, every student has been using Kaplan textbook since last June...

After exam, I just rushed home... Very sleepy... Have to pack my bag also...

Pinching!!!

This sounds weird to you guys right? Well to be honest i fell funny also. Well its holidays for my sister and brothers. Today, my youngest brother came up to me suddenly and start pinching my cheek....Grrr... And I of course pinched him back..

This is like bullying each other.. Haha.. Anyway, this reminded me of my Standard 5 year.. which is the year pinching is a very usual activity for me in class.. My neighbour has a Nissan Skyline R33 if not mistaken. OMG la. He always hit hard at the accelerator as if he wants everyone in the neighbouthood to know that he has a Nissan Skyline. Please la... T5 (Revision) Period

Today, I had T5 revision class. The college gave us a small lecture theater (LT2) and it had to fit around 130 students as this is a combined class. Everyone was like so near to each other...

I went to class happily, thinking that it will end at 12.30pm, as what was stated in the timetable. What I did not noticed is that the time had changed and the new time was stated in the paper of allocating our class. Erm... I overlooked it. Until my lecturer says, today your class will end at 3pm... My soul felt like crumbling suddenly.

Anyway, my friend who lost his handphone told me that his parents may buy him N96 with 16Gb... So nice right? Anyone agrees?

Anyway, I got back my mock exam papers. So many people failed you know. Finally, I passed!!! I got 48.75% only. My lecturers not generous with the marks le... She can even give you 1/4 mark.

Friends Problems

My friend lost his 'beloved' phone in Sunway Pyramid Giant . Someone knocked him and took his phone without him noticing. He was so emo in the class.

After class, we went to Sunway Pyramid Giant Supermarket, hoping to watch the CCTV to try to look for the 'suspect'. There are so many CCTVs in Giant Supermarket. Sadly, most of it are directed to the cashiers' till. One of it is at the lane which sells milk powder and another one at the liquor department. Really hopeless you know... Then, we went to the Digi center so that my friend can request for a new SIM card. That fella there say he need to pay the outstanding bill. Wth? He did not want to pay and we left Sunway Pyramid to KL after lunch.

We went to Times Square. Took a bus from Sunway Pyramid to KL Sentral as usual. We met Karen at the bus stop coincidentally. She wants to go back to somewhere near Midvalley if I am not mistaken.

The bus today is crowded with many passengers. My friends and I had to stand in front. I noticed that the gear of the bus is changed by pressing buttons. There are 3 buttons only. "R" as for reverse (I assume), "N" for neutral and "D" for drive. When the bus stopped at a bus stop in Subang Jaya, an Indian man, around 60years old i think, came to the front entrance and scolded the driver for not stopping when he wanted to get down and now he had to take another bus back. Well, the driver did not hear the bell ringing ( which indicates that passengers are leaving the bus), neither did I. The Indian guy said that the bell was out of order. OMG!!! If the bell was spoilt, can't he just shout? He could yell so loudly at the bus driver some more.

Of course, the bus driver could not hold it any longer and scolded at the Indian guy with 'kurang ajar'. Ooops, wrong word to use, I think. Luckily, a passenger waiting at the bus stop stopped them before a fight can broke out. The driver just apologised and then he droved off. This happened in front of me and I did not care anything about it XD.... Just watched....

Everything went on smoothly and we got down the bus at KL Sentral. While walking to the monorail station, I met Jeannie, Shonna and Rachel Chua. And whats more is that I met Kiat Jin and his 'partner' at Tun Sambathan(no idea if its correct) station. There are heading the same place too...

Study Leave

Its my study leave now basically. It lasts for one month, but then there are revision classes and extra classes in between. Sounds so relaxing huh. If you think so, then you are so so wrong... I was given revision kits and past year papers to do.. All in one month time. Plus, I have to read my textbooks which are as good as new. Touch a few times only...

This few days really "sui" till cannot be more "sui" than this. On Tuesday, I woke up to find that I got bitten by some insect most probably when I was sleeping. I thought this was nothing...insect bite ma...

Then go to college, got back my t4 exam paper. What the heck la... all 5 questions which i tembak A (no time to finish...ZzzzzZzzz) NOT even ONE answer is correct.

Back at home, started to have a stomach disorder and the insect bite started to swell... Some more it has a tail.. make it looks like a type of human cell ...You guess which cell la.. Dun care also. The next day, my stomach just won't recover.. Go to see doctor. Doctor say now many people got it... She saw the bite on my hand and applied some medicine for me.

Till now, it is still swelling. Later need to go to see the doc again...

Walau.... The swollen part is bigger than last time liao... X( ... haih....

Finish Mock Exams !!!!!

Yes!!! Today is my last day for mock exams after 3 continuous days. Today paper is T5 which is my weakest paper. Last night, read my stuff till 2am.. But cant finish...What the heck la!!! Don't care liao la..

Today, we were let into the examination room late by 5 minutes. Hmm..When I want to open the door, it is locked by someone some more. I knocked the door. The examiner opened the door and Shhh-ed me... Wth la... Eh its not my problem right? The door is locked. Anyway, I quickly sat at a place and started to tackle my questions... All half know half don't know.

After 40 minutes, the first person walked out of examination room. Jack was the one..LoL. It seemed that the paper was easy for him... Anyway, after finishing the paper, Alex, Godfrey, Sze Hsin and I are prepared to go to Sg Wang.. We went to the bus stop in front of the Sun-U Residence. We missed 2 buses... *sigh*.. .. This is the first time I actually took the Minibus to Sunway Pyramid. In fact, this is the first time I took a public bus after around 11 years. No idea which bus to take. Guided by my friends who are from outstation..So 'sua ku'...Zzzzz..Haha..Need to pay RM0.80. Oops .. no small change.. Alex paid for me... At Sunway Pyramid, we boarded the Rapid KL to KL Sentral.

After that, we took the monorail to Bukit Bintang. Godfrey had a problem passing the ticket counter... Face problem more like..Haha.. Guess who I met on the escalator up to the platform? My old friend Schwep Bing. He was going to Times Square to meet with some other friends... I wasn't invited... X(... LoL.. Hmm... Kiat Jin doesn't even recognise my voice in the phone. Pity me, after knowing him for more than 10 years....

Went home around 5.30pm, have to read Moral.. Tomorrow exam for moral studies..Good luck to myself...

First Day of Mock Exam!!!

First day of mock exam.. Not too bad la... Managed to answer most of the theory questions but made a few blunders which will cost me many points.

After the exam, we had a T4 extra class with Ms Yu. Hmm... Jack and few of them were not in the class. Wen Jing said that Jack told her extra classes are nonsense. Ooops... Ms Yu hearing this, began to be angry. Made a call to Jack using Kar Hoe's phone and asked him to be back in the class ASAP...

During the class, Ms Yu said that Group 1, which is my group, scored the lowest in T3 and T4 in the previous progress test, compared to the other groups. Mr Akbar, my T3 lecturer, complained about that too. She said normally people can pass T3 very nicely. However, our group seemed to be more focused in T5 compared to T3 and T4. That was the major problem.

I promise to work hard for the final exam in June... No disappointment will be on me when the results come out... XD

During the class, he told us that one of his students has died in a car crash just yesterday. He said that it is also in the news. Aww..that's really really sad...Back at home, I flipped through the newspapers. Yup, it is also in the Chinese newspapers. It is reported that the a car with 3 passengers (including driver) hit a trailer directly. The car was totally gone case. People!! Next time remember to drive carefully...

Tomorrow, mock exam will start. Have to study study study.

Olympic Torch Day!!!

Today is the olympic torch relay day in KL. Wanted to go and see it at the final destination. But after T5 classes, felt so tired that I cancelled the plan.

After T3 class, it rained.. It further confirmed my decision not to go to KLCC to see the torch. Unfortunately, my uncle who was supposed to be here by 5.10pm to pick me up reached Sunway about 5.45pm...Its because of traffic jam.. Don't know whether its because of the rain or the olympic torch thing. Waited and wasted for more than one hour. Thats life.. Wth? Don't feel like reading anything during the period so i just sat at the same place for almost an hour. I bet people will be thinking, that guy sitting there was weird.. Sat there for about an hour without doing anything.

I reached home at 7.00. My backyard was 'flooded' a bit because of the heavy rain...Here's a picture of it.. Don't know whether you can see the water..

Terrible Horrible Day

Today was a very terrible and horrible day for me. I had T5 which is "Managing People & System" for 6 hours. OMG!!! This subject is all about theories and is my least favourite subject. Hehe..Because of lousy memory...

Anyway, we have a joint class with Group 3. Before the class started, Kin Zen said that the venue was in Lecture Theatre 7. Hmm..I argued that its in Lecture Theater 5. Walk up to Lecture Theater 7, everything is dark.. so dark till cant see anything inside. So I won in my argument.

But now, the problem is... Where is LT5? Kin Zen said its in first floor. So Kin Zen, Siew Hong, Iko and I went down to first floor to find out that only LT1 to LT4 is on the first floor and LT5 is at the 4th floor which is the same as LT7...GRRRRRR !!!!! Found the lecture theater eventually and we were late for class.

The class was quite okay at the beginning. As it continues, my eyelids coming down gradually. Oops. After a half an hour break, class resumed. This time really cant tahan... Super-bored and ass getting more and more pain as the time goes. Suddenly, one of the admin staff came in, she said that T3 lecturer for Group 3 was waiting for them and they supposed to have a class with her. Of course, the Group 3 students object and they were not told that they have a class that early. But they went very reluctantly as one of their T5 class was changed to today and the lecturer couldn't come to Sunway on that day.

After they have gone, my lecturer, Miss Wong, started to say that she shouldn't let the students go as its the other lecturer's fault. But what to do? She say the staff 'ke lian' so she just let them go. Hmm... LoL.. This is normal la... People also say that its hard to be a nice person... Dont know its true or not la..

We were let off 45 minutes earlier..Yay!!! But there was another class :( Just make a move there, and put my bag with my friends. Since there is available time, we went to buy something to eat ... ...

LoL.. That's one of the terrible day.. Its over now *relief*....

Back Again... Cause of Brian

After so long time didn't do any blogging, feel like blogging again. Perhaps its because of Brian who suddenly ask me whether I have a blog... LoL

So today i don't have any classes :) My lecturer has gone outstation.. Happie.. But then, have to study on my own.. Mock exam in one week's time.. If fail then may God bless me at that time.

Anyway, I have to make a bank draft to ACCA today too. Went to the bank in the morning, without knowing that there is a second floor... On the ground floor, didn't see any counters around and ask myself
" Hey, where are the counters..."
Damn blur la.... Haih..

The ground floor is mainly advisors and i poke me head to see...
Some people there were looking at me.. *awkward*
Luckily the receptionist at the info counter is back... Go there, tell her what i want to do and she give me instructions... The staircase is just next to the information counter... Zzzzz

So I went up the stairs and go to the counter. The banker ask me," Are you sure the name is ACCA only?" Well, I say yes. Hmm..Pound Sterling is definitely very expensive. What to do? Government buck up wei... But then, luckily the currency for pound sterling is dropping.. Total up have to pay RM358.29... Imagine, its only £56. Before making the banker cheque, the banker ask me once more.. "The name of the payee is ACCA only right?"... -.-"

After getting the banker cheque, then i came back home.. First time experience of making a banker's cheque on my own :P

Wierd Rules

There is a rule in my school that requires everyone to speak only in Malay language and English... However, about 95% of students in the school are chinese and about three quarter of us know chinese. Naturally we speak to each other in mandarin... Here comes the problem. My principal, I don't know what got her suddenly became very strict with this rule. She asked all teachers to send students down to office if any of them speaks in Mandarin. However, i don't think that every teacher follow her too because if every teacher do that, the principal's office will be full of students. She ordered all prefects to write down the names of classmates that speak in mandarin. The prefects of course have to write down the names even if they don't want to. Especially the probationary prefects as they want to become a prefect. I heard my sister say that a probationary actually write down " THE WHOLE CLASS..." I wonder if he wants to be a prefect so much...tsk....Its like backstabbing your friend. Wonder what will the principal do to the students, including me who speaks mandarin very much. The prefects are also speaking in Mandarin... What will she do to them... I think I will probably wait and see...

Environmental Day

Erm... My school has an event that starts today....*drumrolls.....*that is the Environment Week. Wierd thing is that it is launched on a Friday not a Monday. Btw, it is started only at this week as 5th June 2007 was a school holiday for me. This is the first time the school actually has this project and it is the first project by the Environmental Club which is done by everyone in the school. Every student has to write a pledge about wat they will do to save the environment and stick it on the softboards behind our class. Some people have funny pledges such as "I pledge not to eat any vege for 2 months" -.-' There are more activities for the next week and i will tell more about it next week

Long time didn't write blog liao. Quite busy... However, there is something that bothers me. Is prefect really that good? In my school, there are 900+ students and there are about 60 prefects. In my opinion, the number of prefects is more than enough. During duty, there are not much to do as there are too many prefects and my school is quite small. Besides that, the board members just know how to talk for most of them...And the prefects are those who break school rules. You see, there is a reading session in my school every morning for about 15mins. The prefects normally don't have their reading materials and they are busy pulling out students who don't have their reading materials. What the heck is this? PRefects don't show an example. Worst more, the head and his assistants don't have reading materials also. Haihz...Please give comments... Thanks...
